Popcorn with Brown Butter and Parmesan


Upgrade a favorite finger food in five minutes with a salty hit of Parmesan and the rich nutty flavor of brown butter.

Ingredients

1 cup popcorn kernels or 1 3.5-ounce bag plain microwave popcorn
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Kosher salt

Directions

	Step 1: Pop the popcorn.

	Step 2: Melt the butter in a skillet or small saucepan over medium heat. Swirl or stir the butter with a wooden spoon as it starts to foam and sputter. Remove from heat as soon as it begins to turn golden brown and smells nutty, about 1 minute.

	Step 3: Drizzle the butter over the popcorn and sprinkle with the parmesan and � teaspoon salt and toss well.
